ConnecTec provide electrical installation and infrastructure upgrades to homes and businesses throughout the Rototura region. We are also the approved Ministry of Education installers for the Schools Network Upgrade Projects (SNUP). Please read on to learn more about the recent school upgrades, electrical installations and other work we have performed.

Rotorua Lakes High School 

Recently, ConnecTec were asked to carry out a full upgrade of the Rotorua Lakes High school infrastructure. The project included installing 646 data outlets and associated power, upgrading their fibre network and installing new network switches and cabinets; a total of 3500 man hours to complete this job.

Rotorua Intermediate School

ConnecTec also recently completed the infrastructure upgrade for Rotorua Intermediate school, installing 424 data outlets and associated power. We upgraded their fibre network, along with new network switches and cabinets, taking 2500 man hours to complete in total.

Robinson Building 

In June this year, ConnecTec completed a commercial upgrade on an existing building, overhauling the electrical, data and communications, and also installing new Fujitsu heat pumps. This job showcased our ability to offer our clients multiple services from one supplier, meaning they only had to deal with one company for the whole job.
