Graeme Bentley - Company Director

Graeme Bentley is a highly qualified industrial electrician and data technician with over 27 years of experience, he is also a Fujitsu accredited heat pump installer. Graeme has been in business for over 16 years.  In March 2009 Graeme started the ICEHOUSE owner manager programme which gave him the skills to take Connectec to the next level.

 

Emma Alquezar - General Manager

Emma has been with Connectec for the past 4 years.  She completed the ICEHOUSE leading and managing for growth in October 2009, after which she was promoted to the position of General Manager.  Emma oversees the general day to day running of the business, as well as working with Graeme on the long term vision for the company.

 

Diane Tregonning - Administration / Quality Manager

Diane is our systems and procedures expert.  She is the one that ensures we are all complying to the company quality policy of taking pride in our workmanship customer service and customer satisfaction.  She has been with Connectec for 5 years and she is an essential part of the administration team.

 

Chris Cantwell - Salesman

Chris has over 30 years sales experience in the the audio industry.  Since joining the team in early 2009 Chris has been putting his sales skills into action with selling our heating and ventilation products.  He was also the driving force behind our involvement in the Rotorua Regional Council's Hot Swap Scheme. 

 

Garth Henderson - Senior Electrician

Garth is a highly qualified industrial electrician with over 35 years of experience, he has worked on many of our industrial projects including the upgrade of the Multirip at Carter Holt Harvey.  This year Garth has moved into a more senior role and has been working on upskilling himself, he is now our resident autoCAD draughtsman.

 

Graeme Scott - Data & Communications Technician

Graeme is the most senior of all of the technicians with over 40 years of experience, he has worked for Connectec for over 10 years.  He is a panasonic phone system whiz.  He also completes wireless access point installations, he will set up your computer for you, and what he doesn't know about phones isn't worth knowing.

 

Michael Grondsma - Electrician

Mike is a registered electrician with mainly domestic and commercial experience.  He is also a certified data installer and an accredited Fujitsu heat pump installer.  Mike is one of the young leaders at Connectec, he will often take the lead on major commercial projects.

 

Warren Hay - Refrigeration Technician

Warren is a highly qualified refrigeration technician with over 10 years of experience.  He has been with Connectec just under a year, but has brought a wealth of knowledge in the refrigeration industry with him.  Warren is an accredited Fujitsu heat pump installer.  While he has been with us he has also diversified into the other areas that Connectec specialise in.

 

Trevor Bloor - Data & Communications Technician

Trevor is one of our specialist data & communication technicians he has been with Connectec for over 3 years, he has a wealth of knowledge and has over 30 years experience in the industry.  He is also our resident Fushion Splicer expert.

 

Ray Carbonel - Electrician

Ray is a registered electrician.  He has worked on both commercial and industrial sites.  Just recently he has started leading small teams on small project work.

 

Tawhai Raureti - Electrician

Tawhai is a registered industrial electrician, he is a junior tradesman, and has been seconded to one of our major industrial sites.

 

Tim Wiringi - Electrician

Tim is a registered electrician with predominantly industrial experience.  He has PLC, HMI and Scada expertise.  Tim only joined Connectec this year but comes to us with a vast knowledge of the industrial and controls industry, he also is an autoCAD draughtsman.

 

Leigh Jackson -  Electrician

Leigh is a registered electrician, he has been out of his time as an apprentice over a year, but in saying that Leigh does have a high skill level in his field.  He has predominantly worked in the domestic and commercial aspects of the industry.  Leigh has also install a few heat pumps in his time and is a Fujitsu accredited  heat pump installer.

 

Alden Ardern - Data & Communications Technician

Alden has been with Connectec for the past three years, within this time he has become a certified data installer  in several different brands.  Alden is often the lead on our SNUP infrastructure upgrade contracts.

 

Stefhan Wolken - Data & Communications Technician

Stefhan has recently joined our team, he is based in Hamilton he has a wealth of experience in the cabling industry.  He is also another one of our expert fushion splicers.  He is a certified data installer in several brands.

 

David Steele - Tech Assistant

David has been with Connectec for the past two years.  David has worked on many of our major contracts, he is currently assisting on a major project in Hamilton.

 

Buddy Taki - Electrical Apprentice

Buddy has been with Connectec for two years and has just completed his first year of his electrical apprenticeship.  Buddy is constantly exposed to as many different aspects of the electrical industry as possible.  From domestic installations to working on major industrial sites. 

 

Kenny Fisher - Electrical Apprentice

Kenny joined the team in the middle of this year and will be completing the final year of his apprenticeship.  Kenny has been exposed in mainly the domestic and industrial side of the industry but since joining the team he has expanded his knowledge base in the commercial and industrial sectors.

 

ETCO (Electrical Training Company) Apprentices

From time to time, when the work depicts we increase our labour force by supporting the local industry by bringing in the ETCO apprenticise's.
